Roucas Toumba or "the fallen rock" in old Provençal, taken from the ancient name for this area, is a small family-run vineyard in the town of Vacqueyras. The Bouletin family is one of the oldest in the village, with records containing this name dating back to 1580.
In the beginning, I used to take my harvested grapes to the cooperative cellar in the village. Then in 2006, I decided to build my own cellar and produce wine using my grapes, some of which come from old vines.
I have always been interested in and respected nature and wildlife, so it seemed only natural to run my vineyard organically, which is not, however, the most profitable method.
